I am en route back from Red Deer, Alberta after delivering a completely new training presentation.
I have worked over the past week to merge my two training courses, CBSM 101 and Beyond Theory to Implementation into a third course that has a lot of content from both.
We had about 30 people in attendance, and they left with have a thorough understanding of Community-Based Social Marketing, as well as a lot of tips and tricks that I have learned over the past 20+ years of developing CBSM programs. Such as:
- How to conduct research on a budget
- How to get baseline data on behaviour without hardly any effort at all
- Leveraging communications and developing social norms with social media
- Fool-proof techniques of securing commitment
It was a great group, and we intend to hold another in Red Deer in February.
