I am having a great time meeting a large group of people from all across the province who have gathered in Vancouver for the 2012 Invasive Species Council of British Columbia (ISCBC) (http://bcinvasives NULL.ca/) Conference.
It was exciting to be one of two keynote speakers yesterday. I spoke on how Community-based Social Marketing can be used to curb the spread of invasive species. I will be working with ISCBC and 13 regional committees across the province on an exciting and innovative behaviour change program they are developing for a rollout this spring and summer. More details later.
In the meantime, if you want to read what I had to say yesterday, here is the presentation in pdf form (http://www NULL.beyondattitude NULL.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/ChangingBehaviourtoPreventInvasiveSpecies_PDF NULL.pdf). I am told that the ISCBC will have all of the presentations from the conference on their website later. There have been excellent presentations, I am learning a lot! Subscribe for updates to this blog to receive a notice of when they have been posted.
