Beyond Attitude Consulting acknowledges we operate in Mi’kma’ki – the unceded territory and ancestral homeland of the Mi’kmaq First Nation. Our relationship is based on a series of Peace and Friendship treaties between the Mi’kmaq First Nation and the Crown, dating from 1725 to 1779. In 1999 the Supreme Court of Canada, in R v Marshall, upheld the 1752 treaty “which promised Indigenous Peoples the right to hunt and fish their lands and establish trade.”
We also acknowledge that we work and play in many unceded territories and ancestral homelands of Indigenous Peoples across North America, and respect the rights and traditions of the many First Nations, Inuit and Métis Peoples therein.
We are all Treaty People.
Doug McKenzie-Mohr in Halifax in May
I received a note the other day from Doug McKenzie-Mohr. Doug told me that he is going to be conducting a CBSM seminar in Halifax, May 30th and 31st.

If you are in the Halifax area, and if you have never been to one of Doug’s seminars before, I encourage you to attend. Doug’s seminars are fun and engaging, and they will change the way you think. No kidding! When you walk out of Doug’s seminar, you think differently! You will have a keen appreciation for how important behavioural psychology is to promoting sustainable behaviour. And you will possess a new set of tools for promoting environmental programs.
I first attended one of Doug’s seminars in the early 1990’s. I have attended them 3 times and would not hesitate to return again.
